Special Education Teacher | Massillon, Ohio

Exciting contract opportunity available for a Special Education Teacher eager to make an impact with K-8 students for the upcoming school year. Qualifications:

• Valid OH K-12 IS License required
• Previous experience in a special education classroom preferred
• Strong organizational skills for managing caseloads and documentation
• Ability to adapt lesson plans to various learning styles and needs
• Team-oriented with a commitment to collaboration

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement appropriate instructional strategies and IEPs for K-8 students
• Assess students’ progress and adjust teaching methods as necessary
• Communicate regularly with parents, administrators, and team members
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records
• Foster a safe and supportive classroom community

Assignment Details:

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Monday through Friday
• Contract position from August 2026 through June 2027
• Serves K-8 age group with a diverse caseload
