Position Overview: 

• Provide specialized math instruction and academic support to middle and high school students with diverse learning needs.
• Develop and implement individualized educational strategies that promote academic and social growth.
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to monitor progress and develop strategies that support student success.
• Foster an inclusive, engaging classroom through proactive instruction and effective classroom management.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Valid New York State Special Education Teaching Certification
• 3+ years of special education teaching experience preferred
• Strong background in math instruction and supporting students with diverse learning needs
