Position Overview:
- Provide specialized instruction and academic support to students with diverse learning needs.
- Develop and implement individualized educational strategies that promote academic and social growth.
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to monitor progress and support student success.
- Foster an inclusive, engaging classroom through proactive instruction and effective classroom management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
- Valid New York State Teaching Certification in Special Education
- 3+ years of special education teaching experience preferred
