Responsibilities and Qualifications:
Collaborate with general education teachers, speech and language pathologists, occupational therapists, district BCBA, direct providers, and other special educators
Responsible for following the student IEP and ensuring compliance with state and federal SPED regulations, including the delivery of high-quality services, and the provision of accommodations/modifications for instruction and assessment
Experience developing/modifying social, emotional, academic curriculum, and behavioral programs for a wide variety of learning profiles Experience coordinating and supervising a team of paraprofessionals working with students throughout the school setting
Experience with working with teachers to ensure inclusive opportunities for students with varying needs
Experience with analyzing and interpreting standardized testing results
Experience with co-teaching and inclusion support
Experience with effective and consistent parent/guardian communication
Performance of other job-related duties as assigned
Salary Range: $61,848 to $118,668 per year. A union-represented position. Starting salary is determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement based on the candidate''s verified years of experience and educational degree (Steps and Lanes).
