Position:Special Education Teacher
Location:Milford High School
Schedule:2026-2027
Salary:Per Contract
To Start:October 5, 2026
Qualifications:
- Massachusetts Department of Education Teacher License-l Certified in Moderate and/or Severe Special Needs
- Knowledge and experience with Curriculum Frameworks of Portfolio Assessments
- Experience administering MCAS
- Experience administering and interpreting diagnostic assessments
- Experienced administering evaluations
- Experience working with students diagnosed with Autism
- High School experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Liaison for students on caseload
- Develop and modify curriculum and curriculum materials for each student
- Co-teach and/or small group classroom instruction
- Supervise assistants in the classroom
- Complete evaluations and reports for initial and re-evaluation of students
- Write IEPs and progress reports
- Facilitate annual review meetings according to regulations and timelines
- Ability to use software credit recovery system
