  • Demonstrate success in team teaching with emphasis/ strength in the areas of reading, language arts

  • Demonstrate success in specially designing instructional content for multiple subject areas aligned to individual IEP's

  • Demonstrate success in working with special education students

  • Be flexible and adaptive.

  • Demonstrate use of technology to enhance student performance

  • Demonstrate ability to design and create learning experiences that are developmentally appropriate; familiar with research-based interventions for reading, math and behavior

  • Demonstrate ability to successfully complete IEP paperwork and manage successfully manage timelines for annual IEP meetings and evaluations

  • Demonstrate ability to manage challenging behaviors

  • Demonstrate ability to collaborate and work effectively as a member of a team, relate to students, parents and staff.

  • Be willing to stay current and use technology in your classroom.
