The ideal candidate will have experience teaching students with a variety of disability designations (SDD, SLD, EBD, ID, Autism) within the early childhood years specifically Early Childhood (ages 3-4), K4 and K5.
Whitnall School District is seeking a Special Education Early Childhood teacher who will provide effective Specially Designed Instruction in a self contained learning environment. Our Early Childhood program is a collaborative approach in which the teacher co-serves with the speech pathologist, OT and PT. The morning caseload is an Early Childhood class held Monday-Thursday from 8:35-11:35am. The afternoon caseload would consist of 4 and/or 5 year old Kindergarten students with IEPs.
