Candidate should have experience working with elementary school Multiply Disabled students in a self contained setting. Strong professional skills and knowledge are required.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. NJ Certification as Teacher of the Handicapped or Students with Disabilities required.

2. Demonstrated ability to work with special needs students preferred.

3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

4. Required criminal history background check and medical screening; proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident/immigrant status.

Starting Salary Range:

• Bachelor's Degree: $70,000 - 100,315
• Master's Degree: $77,450 - $109,865
• Master's + 30 Credits: $81,565 - $115,450
• Doctorate: $84,565 - $118,450

• New Jersey Instructional Certificate or eligibility.
• Teaching experience preferred, but not required.
• Demonstrated knowledge in subject area.
• Familiarity with use of technology as instructional tool.

JOB GOAL(S)

To provide instructional leadership in the classroom in accordance with the course of study approved by the Board of Education approved curriculum.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Implements instruction to meet the individual needs, interests, and abilities of students.2.
