Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students in an Affective Needs classroom in Northglenn, CO. The teacher will work with a small caseload while collaborating with paraprofessionals and school staff to provide individualized academic and behavioral support.
- Caseload: Typically 8 10 students
- Classroom: Affective Needs
- Support: Paraprofessionals available to assist in the classroom
- Develop and implement individualized instruction based on student needs
- Support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals, school staff, and families as needed
- Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Education license is required
- License must be in hand at the time of submission
- Pending CDE licenses will not be accepted
- Special Education teaching experience preferred
- Experience working with students with behavioral or emotional needs is a plus
