• Deliver targeted instruction to students in a Life Skills (FASE) setting, ensuring individualized support based on IEP goals
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards and student abilities
• Foster a safe, inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages academic and social development
• Collaborate regularly with general education teachers, aides, and related service staff
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, accommodations, and communication with parents/guardians
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered planning
• Adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Special Education Certification for Texas
• Possession of at least one of the following endorsements (matching appropriate grade levels): Self Contained, Core Subjects, or Generalist
• Experience working with elementary-aged students in a Life Skills or FASE classroom strongly preferred
• Ability to manage multiple student needs while maintaining a positive and structured learning environment
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
