Special Education Teacher - Preschool

Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Valid California Special Education Teaching Credential or eligibility to obtain appropriate certification.
Experience working with students with disabilities in a classroom or educational setting preferred.
Knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), special education regulations, and compliance requirements.
Ability to develop and implement differentiated instruction and individualized learning plans.
Strong understanding of evidence-based instructional strategies and behavior management techniques.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills when working with students, families, teachers, and support staff.

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines.
Provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs, including academic, behavioral, social, and developmental goals.
Create engaging, differentiated lesson plans and instructional strategies tailored to each student’s abilities and learning style.
Monitor and assess student progress through data collection, evaluations, and ongoing performance reviews.
Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, school staff, and families to support student success.
Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team discussions.
