Inspire young minds and make a lasting impact by supporting elementary students with Autism and other developmental disabilities in a welcoming, inclusive school environment. We are currently seeking enthusiastic Special Education Teachers for three full-time, onsite positions for the 2024-2025 school year. You'll have the rewarding opportunity to foster growth, learning, and independence in classrooms designed for 8-12 students, allowing for attentive and individualized instruction.

This contract position is ideal for educators who thrive in collaborative, mission-driven settings and are passionate about providing specialized academic and social-emotional support. As part of a dedicated staff, you'll help create a safe and empowering atmosphere where every child has the chance to shine.

What We're Looking For:

  • Valid Special Education Teacher certification
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably with Autism or developmental disabilities
  • Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and behavior management strategies
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to partner with fellow educators, support staff, and families
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and adaptive problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to creating a positive, inclusive classroom culture
Your Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct instruction, adapting lessons to meet diverse learning needs
  • Employ evidence-based techniques to promote engagement and achievement
  • Maintain thorough documentation and communicate progress with families and other team members
  • Participate actively in staff meetings, trainings, and IEP reviews
  • Cultivate a supportive, structured environment that fosters student growth and well-being

Interview slots are available onsite Wednesday (10am-1pm) and Thursday (11am-12pm).
