Description:

Birch Agency is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join a school district near Saint Paul, Minnesota for the 2026 2027 school year. This is a full-time, in-person opportunity working with upper middle school and lower high school students in a resource/case management setting.

Responsibilities

• 
  Serve as a Resource/Case Manager for students with special needs
  
• 
  Provide individualized and small-group instruction
  
• 
  Teach English Language Arts (ELA), Math, and Skills/Transition classes
  
• 
  Develop and implement IEPs while monitoring student progress
  
• 
  Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and related service providers
  
• 
  Foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment that promotes student growth and independence
  

Qualifications

• 
  Active Minnesota Special Education Teaching License
  
• 
  Experience working with middle and/or high school students preferred
  
• 
  Strong case management, communication, and collaboration skills
  
• 
  Passion for helping students achieve academic and personal success
