Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to provide elementary resource services for the 2026 2027 school year near Rockford, Illinois. This is a full-time, in-person opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners while collaborating with a supportive educational team.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Provide special education services in a resource setting
  
• 
  Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success.
  
• 
  Develop and implement IEP goals and accommodations.
  
• 
  Monitor student progress and maintain appropriate documentation.
  
• 
  Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Special Education endorsement.
  
• 
  Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred.
  
• 
  Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  
• 
  Commitment to supporting diverse learning needs.
