About the Role

Point Quest Group is seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Special Education Teacher to support students ages 3-5 in a school-based setting in Arizona. In this role, you'll help young learners build foundational academic, social, and developmental skills in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

What You'll Do

  • Develop lesson plans with accommodations aligned to IEP goals and state standards
  • Adapt general education curriculum to meet individual student needs
  • Implement and manage classroom PBIS program, including behavior tracking and parent communication
  • Supervise and direct paraprofessionals assigned to your classroom
  • Attend and lead IEP meetings; write updates and maintain compliant documentation
  • Conduct assessments and track student progress toward IEP goals
  • Collaborate with related service providers, families, and outside agencies
  • Support implementation of assistive technology and augmentative communication devices

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • Valid Arizona Special Education Teaching Certificate
  • Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) endorsement preferred
  • Experience working with preschool or early elementary special education students
  • Strong knowledge of IEPs and compliance requirements
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team

Preferred:

  • Experience with autism spectrum disorders and developmental delays
  • Familiarity with behavioral strategies (ABA, PBIS, etc.)
  • Prior school-based experience in Arizona
