Special Education Teacher

As an elementary school-based Special Education Teacher in Saint Francis, MN, your days will include:

• Provide individualized instruction to elementary students in a Setting 3 special education classroom.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Adapt lessons and instructional materials to meet students’ learning needs.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to support student success.
• Support students’ academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction and supports as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with applicable special education requirements.

Job Details

• Position: One full-time, onsite contract opening; immediate start through June 4
• Hours: 37.5 hours per week; Monday–Friday, 7:50 a.m.–3:50 p.m.
• Caseload: 10–12 elementary students in a Setting 3 classroom
• Interviews: Virtual within the week; ready to interview and offer

Successful Candidates Possess

• Minnesota teaching licensure appropriate for the assignment; Tier 1, 2, 3, and 4 candidates may be considered
• Experience supporting students with disabilities and implementing IEPs
• Experience in a pediatric or school setting (preferred)
• The ability to work in the U.S. without a sponsor
• Note: New graduates may be considered
