Description
Elementary SEBS Program Teacher
Fausey Elementary School
We are looking for a teacher with experience teaching elementary students with Social Emotional and Behavioral difficulties. These students are taught in a small sub-separate environment.
Qualifications:
Provide training to staff regarding proper implementation of behavioral programming, teaching strategies, and data collection
Trained and certified in de-escalation techniques
Attend IEP meetings and develop IEPs for students in the program.
Monitor and support the implementation and effectiveness of skill acquisition and behavior reduction programming, and make changes/recommendations to enhance progress
Provide regular consultation services to teachers and support staff
Facilitate inclusion opportunities into the general education setting and community settings
Collaborate with specialists to implement procedures within the classroom setting to assist with carryover of skills targeted in general education setting
Help in the development of functional behavior assessments, and prepare and analyze results
Monitor and contribute behavior support plans and development
Consult with families/guardians and coordinate care/home services and wrap around providers
Carry out other related duties as may be designated
Salary: Per Unit A Contract (salary range:$53,939 - $102,056)
