Special Education Teacher, Substantially Separate (Anticipated)

• Plan developmentally appropriate lessons for students in the classroom
• Implement student IEP goals within the classroom setting
• Provide special education evaluations for students
• Write and monitor student IEPs
• Participate in IEP meetings for students
• Provide progress reports for students on IEPs as often as report cards
• Attend professional development and meetings as schedule by the Director of Student Services
• Ongoing parent communication
• Ongoing collaboration with other school staff
• Classroom management and basic behavior management

Compensation will be in accordance with the salary scale outlined in the Acushnet Teachers Association collective bargaining agreement.
