HS Special Education Teacher
INSTRUCTION AND CURRICULUM:
Develop and deliver specialized instruction based on students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
COLLABORATION AND COMMUNICATION:
Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other specialists to support students learning and deveopment
Communicate regulary with parents and guardians regarding student progress and IEP implementation
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to develop and implement IEPs
Knowledge of various teaching strategies and methods
Patience, empathy, and positive attitude
Valid Texas teaching cerificate in Special Education
Experience in self- contained special education setting is preferred, but not required
CPI/Handle with Care training or willingness to be trained
