Special Education Teacher Tenure track Elementary

Summary

The district is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher for a full-time, tenure-track position at the K-5 level. Building to be determined. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of students with disabilities. This role requires collaboration with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that promote academic, social, and emotional growth.

Requirements

• Valid state certification/license in Special Education.
• Experience working with students with disabilities in an educational setting is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation, as well as special education laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods and materials to meet diverse learning needs.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
