We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher (Affective Needs) to join a school team in Thornton, Colorado. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator passionate about supporting students with diverse learning and emotional needs.
Position Details:
- Title: Special Education Teacher Affective Needs

- Schedule: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with affective needs.
- Provide specialized instruction and support tailored to student goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to promote student success.
- Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching license/certification (or eligibility) required.
- Experience working with students with affective needs preferred.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Passion for helping students achieve academic and personal growth.
