Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and student-focused Special Education Teacher to join our team in Tullahoma, TN. The ideal candidate will be committed to helping students with disabilities reach their academic, social, and personal potential in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) based on student needs and goals.
Provide engaging, differentiated instruction to students with a variety of learning needs.
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate educational records.
Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, related-service providers, and families.
Participate in IEP meetings and communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
Use appropriate instructional strategies, accommodations, and modifications to support student success.
Maintain compliance with school policies and applicable special education requirements.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
Valid Tennessee teaching license or eligibility for appropriate Tennessee licensure.
Experience working with students with disabilities is preferred.
Strong communication, organization, and classroom-management skills.
A genuine passion for helping students succeed.
