Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students in grades 4 6 at an elementary school in Walterboro, SC. This position offers the opportunity to work with a supportive team that includes two paraprofessionals.
- Approximately 10 students, with a maximum caseload of 15
- Students in 4th 6th grade
- Supported by 2 paraprofessionals
- Special education setting: Multi-Categorical (MCC)
- South Carolina Multi-Categorical (MCC) certification/license required
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in special education preferred
- Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills
- 37.5 hours per week
- 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
- 30-minute lunch break
- Assignment runs ASAP through May 24, 2027
