We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team in Walterboro, South Carolina. This is an exciting opportunity to support young learners by creating an inclusive, engaging, and supportive classroom environment where every student can thrive.

Position Details:

• Location: Walterboro, SC
• School: Elementary
• Position Type: Full-Time
• Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
• Classroom Setting: Resource Classroom (Grades K 3)
• License Requirement: Valid South Carolina Teaching License required

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs in grades K 3
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and monitor student progress
• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff to promote student success
• Create a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment
• Use evidence-based teaching strategies to help students achieve academic and developmental goals

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid South Carolina Special Education Teaching License/Certification
• Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
• Passion for supporting students with disabilities and helping them reach their full potential
