Description

The Beecher-Dunbar-Pembine School District is looking for a highly motivated individual for a full time Special Education Teacher. Knowledge of special education programming, inclusion practices, team teaching, intervention strategies and academic behavioral assessment required. Experience in Differentiated Instruction Techniques and ability to work in a collaborative environment a plus. Readers Workshop experience and knowledge of Comprehensive Literacy helpful. Individual must have the skills to teach with an active hands-on and energetic approach. Wisconsin DPI Certification required, Cross Categorical preferred. Licensure in the following areas may also be considered: 1811 Learning Disability, 1830 Emotional Behavior Disability or 1810 Cognitive Disability. Pathways to Cross Categorical licensing may be explored with the right candidate.
