SALARY: Per the Unit A Contract ($53,287/year - $68,406/year)
JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Special Education Teacher to support students in Kindergarten and Grade 1 within our Intensive Resource Room (IRR) program. This specialized program serves students on the autism spectrum and/or those with developmental disabilities who benefit from direct, explicit instruction in a structured, small-group classroom setting. The ideal candidate will have experience implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methodologies, including Discrete Trial Training (DTT), and be proficient in supporting students who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems. We are looking for a collaborative educator who is committed to individualized instruction, data-driven practices, and fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
