About the Role
Clarvida is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support youth referred by the public school system in our alternative school placement. Students are assigned for 45–180 days and receive a blended, skill-based learning experience designed to help them succeed academically, behaviorally, and emotionally.
Our individualized 1:1 instruction model provides personalized support tailored to each student's needs through hands-on learning, restorative circles, and an online curriculum, we create an environment where students feel supported and understood. Teachers work within a close-knit team that helps students build long-term success, and many former students return years later to share their progress and accomplishments.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and Delaware Certification in Special Education
OR Bachelor’s Degree with Special Education Certification from another state (Clarvida will assist with Delaware reciprocity)
Able to pass background and criminal record checks
Meets mandated health requirements (e.g., negative tuberculosis test)
Compliance with drug-free workplace rules and board policies
