Special Education Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary Resource Special Education Teacher to support students in an inclusive elementary school environment. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping students with diverse learning needs achieve academic and personal success.

• Provide specialized instruction and support to elementary-level students with exceptional needs
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student goals
• Participate actively in staff meetings and collaborative planning sessions
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings (overtime may be approved as needed)
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and services
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success
• Manage a caseload of approximately 30 students

• Valid Exceptional Children (EC) Teaching Licensure
• Experience working in an elementary school setting preferred
• Strong understanding of special education practices, IEP development, and compliance requirements
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Must be willing to complete required background screening as per district guidelines

• Comfortable managing a diverse caseload and meeting documentation requirements
