Special Education Teacher

The School District of Gilman is seeking a positive, energetic, and innovative special education teachers to join our staff for the 2026-27 school year. The position is supported by a staff and administrative team that works collaboratively and collectively, ample instructional and technological resources, and an established RtI system. While this is a high school position, candidates interested in other grade levels will be considered. Please indicate your grade level preference in your cover letter.

The successful candidate will:

• Develop positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• Display the ability to provide instruction that meets the academic, behavioral, social, and

emotional needs of every student.

• Ability to use resources, routines, and procedures to provide a respectful, safe, positive,

student-centered environment that is conducive to student engagement and learning.

• Utilize technology for instructional purposes.
• Pursue opportunities for professional development.
