POSITION: Special Education Teacher 1.0 FTE
LOCATION: Woodbury Middle School

GENERAL DUTIES:
Providing direct instruction to special education students across grade levels
Overseeing para educator staff relative to students on caseload
Establishing and maintaining frequent communication with parents of students on caseload
Collaborating with regular educators, related service staff, student service support staff and administrators
Evaluating students as needed using standards based and curriculum based methods
Developing and evaluating measurable goals and objectives
Collecting progress monitoring data
Coding progress of goals and objectives
Attend PPTs and assist with conducting functional behavioral assessments and designing behavior intervention plans
SALARY: According to Teachers' Contract
QUALIFICATIONS: CT Certification in Special Education 165
Excellent teaming, collaboration and communication skills
