    Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities | 2026–2027 School Year

    Navra is actively seeking enthusiastic and student-focused Special Education Teachers to join school districts in the Yorkville area for the 2026–2027 school year.

    We're looking for educators who are passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences and helping students with diverse abilities achieve academic, social, and personal success.

    As a Special Education Teacher, you'll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact by providing individualized instruction, fostering confidence, and helping students reach important milestones. You'll be an integral member of the educational team, working closely with families, support staff, and fellow educators to ensure every student receives the support they need to thrive.

    What You'll Be Doing

    • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
    • Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students' unique learning needs
    • Adapt curriculum and classroom strategies to support student success
    • Track progress and maintain accurate documentation
    • Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, and families
    • Create an engaging, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
    • Encourage student independence, self-advocacy, and academic growth

    Available Assignments

    • Elementary, middle school, and high school opportunities
    • Full-time and part-time positions available
    • Resource, inclusion, self-contained, and specialized program settings
    • Placements based on your experience and professional preferences

    Qualifications

    • Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
    • LBS1 Endorsement (or eligibility to obtain)
    • Strong classroom management and instructional skills
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
    • Commitment to helping students achieve their individual goals
