Position: Special Education Teacher
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Special Education Teachers to join our team at Kindspire Education Recruitment in Yuba City. As a full-time, permanent position, you will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of students with special needs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Adapt instructional strategies and materials to meet the diverse needs of students
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive education for students
- Monitor and track student progress, making necessary adjustments to interventions and accommodations
- Provide direct instruction and support to students in various academic and social-emotional areas
- Maintain accurate and organized records, including IEPs, progress reports, and behavior plans
- Attend and participate in team meetings, professional development, and other school events as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
- Valid Special Education teaching license or certification
- Experience working with students with special needs, preferably in a school setting
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with students with special needs
