Navra Education is seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher for a full-time school-based opportunity near Yuba City for the 2026–2027 school year.
Responsibilities
Provide specialized instruction based on students’ individual learning needs
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, service providers, and families
Track student progress and adjust instructional strategies
Lead and participate in IEP meetings
Implement accommodations, modifications, and positive behavior supports
Maintain compliance with IDEA and California special education regulations
Position Details
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Setting: School-based contract with renewal potential
Grade Levels: Elementary RSP
Assignment: Placement and caseload discussed during the interview
School Year: 2026–2027
Qualifications
Active California Education Specialist Credential
Special education classroom experience preferred
Strong knowledge of IEP development and compliance
Collaborative, student-centered approach
