Position Overview:

Soliant is seeking dedicated, collaborative, and student-centered Special Education Teachers to join our growing team. Multiple openings are available across elementary, middle, and high school settings, including resource, inclusion, self-contained, and specialized support programs.
The ideal candidates are passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs and committed to fostering inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environments where all students can thrive.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with student goals and state standards
Provide specialized instruction and academic interventions for students with disabilities
Adapt curriculum, assignments, and instructional methods to meet individual student needs
Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals
Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and multidisciplinary team discussions
Implement classroom management and positive behavior support strategies
Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal special education regulations
Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field required
Valid state teaching certification/licensure in Special Education required
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Knowledge of IEP development, differentiated instruction, and behavior supports
Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams
Previous special education teaching experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in inclusion, co-teaching, or specialized instructional settings
Familiarity with assistive technology and data-driven instruction
Experience supporting students with autism, emotional disabilities, or significant support needs
Strong problem-solving and relationship-building skills
