Position Overview:

Soliant is seeking dedicated, collaborative, and student-centered Special Education Teachers to join our growing team. Multiple openings are available across elementary, middle, and high school settings, including resource, inclusion, self-contained, and specialized support programs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with student goals and state standards
  • Provide specialized instruction and academic interventions for students with disabilities
  • Adapt curriculum, assignments, and instructional methods to meet individual student needs
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
  • Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Implement classroom management and positive behavior support strategies
  • Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal special education regulations
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field required
  • Valid state teaching certification/licensure in Special Education required
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of IEP development, differentiated instruction, and behavior supports
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams
  • Previous special education teaching experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in inclusion, co-teaching, or specialized instructional settings
  • Familiarity with assistive technology and data-driven instruction
  • Experience supporting students with autism, emotional disabilities, or significant support needs
  • Strong problem-solving and relationship-building skills
