Special Education Teachers

Minneapolis schools are seeking two onsite Special Education Teachers for full‑time roles supporting K–8 students across a variety of instructional and behavioral needs. These positions require a Tier 3 or Tier 4 Minnesota SPED license and offer stable, full‑week schedules within a collaborative school environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct Instruction — Deliver individualized and small‑group instruction aligned with IEP goals.
• IEP Development — Write goals, track progress, and participate in meetings.
• Behavior Support — Implement behavior plans and maintain supportive learning environments.
• Collaboration — Work with general educators, related service providers, and families.
• Documentation — Maintain compliance through timely reporting and communication.

Qualifications

• Active Minnesota Tier 3 or Tier 4 Special Education license
• Experience with K–8 learners preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• Must be able to work onsite
• Reliable transportation required

Contract Details

• 2 openings
• 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday
• Onsite only
• Competitive hourly rate
