Special Education Van Driver(s)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED
• Have or be willing to obtain and maintain a valid 7D license.
• First Aid/CPR preferred
• Experience with special needs students preferred
• Flexible schedule - up to 5 hours of driving per day

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Transporting authorized pupils in a safe and efficient manner
• Perform all activities related to the operation of student van transportation
• Conduct safety inspection of the bus prior to each trip and complete School Bus Condition Report
• Notify supervisor of mechanical malfunctions and/or safety hazards
• Adhere to assigned routes, designated bus stops and assigned time schedules
• Obey all traffic laws and observe mandatory bus safety regulations

SALARY:

$20.00 per hour
