Carroll College is seeking dependable, service-oriented individuals to join our Special Events Team (SET). This position supports Carroll College's commitment to providing a safe, secure, and welcoming environment during athletic contests, campus events, and other large gatherings. Under the direction of the Director of Campus Security and Public Safety, SET members provide event safety and security support, emergency response assistance, crowd management, traffic and parking coordination, and guest services. Team members help ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations, fire codes, College policies, and emergency preparedness procedures while promoting a positive experience for students, employees, visitors, and community members attending College events.This is a part-time, as-needed position requiring strong customer service skills, professionalism, reliability, and sound judgment. The successful candidate must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and special events as assigned. Previous experience in security, public safety, event operations, or customer service is preferred but not required. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the safety, success, and positive experience of Carroll College events while serving the campus and surrounding community.Qualifications: Qualified candidates must be at least 18 years of age and possess strong communication, customer service, and situational awareness skills. Candidates should be able to work effectively in a team environment, maintain professionalism in dynamic event settings, and demonstrate the physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift or carry basic equipment. An interest in public safety, event operations, security, or emergency response is preferred. Qualified candidates must complete all required training and adhere to College policies and safety procedures.
