JOB SUMMARY
This position oversees special events for the Parks and Recreation Department. Responsibilities include event development, implementation, marketing, sponsorship solicitation, interpretation and enforcement of rules and regulations, and evaluation. Recruit, select, train, assign, motivate, supervise, and evaluate designated employees, monitor contractors and vendors. Fiscal accountability is required with the Department's budget preparation and implementation including forecasting funds needed for staffing, equipment, materials and supplies. Submit participation and financial reports as requested.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The work is medium and requires exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Additionally, the following physical abilities are required: balancing, climbing, crawling, crouching, feeling, fingering, grasping, handling, hearing, kneeling, lifting, mental acuity, pulling, pushing, reaching, repetitive motions, speaking, standing, stooping, talking, visual acuity, and walking.
