Special Events Coordinator

Under general supervision, the Special Events Coordinator plans, develops, implements, evaluates and directs an activities program for Vinson Hall with special programs and events for the entire community. This position plays a vital role in the lives of the residents at Vinson Hall. The candidate must bring a special combination of energy, enthusiasm, positive motivation and self-direction to the job. Helps ensure resident involvement and satisfaction. Maintains a program that meets the needs and interest of each resident in self-care, and encourages them to lead an active lifestyle for resident in independent living.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of three years' experience in event planning, resident engagement, or activities planning in an Adult Care Residence (ACR) or nursing home preferred.
• Proficient in Canva, Microsoft Office, calendar engagement software.
