Key Duties:
Interventional Imaging Excellence: Perform special procedures and interventional imaging, ensuring correct patient positioning and strict adherence to protocol requirements.
Clinical Collaboration: Assist physicians during complex procedures, providing technical support and ensuring all equipment is prepared and operational.
Quality & Technical Oversight: Produce high-quality technical images, review completed scans for completeness, and perform necessary quality assurance and calibrations.
Patient Advocacy & Education: Introduce yourself to patients and families, providing essential education regarding ordered examinations and ensuring a supportive clinical experience.
Operational Readiness: Maintain a clean and safe environment, report malfunctioning equipment, and utilize EMR and PACS systems for accurate documentation.
Emergency Support: Serve in the on-call rotation and respond to emergency procedures or urgent departmental situations as they arise.
Mentorship: Share your expertise by serving as an instructor or preceptor for staff and students when assigned.
Education: Graduate of an allied health education program at an accredited radiography school or hospital-based program.
Licensure: Current New York State Department of Health (DOH) Licensure or Limited Permit.
Certification: * ARRT Registered: (RT) and Radiograph (R).
BLS Certification required.
Experience:Minimum of 2 years of Neuro Interventional experience is required for newly hired technologists working in Neuro Interventional Radiology (NIR).
Skills: Proficiency in providing age-specific care (pediatric to geriatric) and utilizing digital imaging systems.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong commitment to customer service programs and professional behavior standards.
Analytical Judgment: Ability to exercise independent professional judgment in the performance of procedures and image quality assessment.
Setting: Hospital (Operating Room / NIR)

Work Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM) plus mandatory on-call rotation.
