Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree. Three years of administrative experience in budgeting, financial management or report systems, administration and information systems are required. Additional administrative experience to include budgeting, financial management or report systems, administration and information systems experience may substitute for the required college education on a year for year basis.

The incumbent in this position exercises substantial independence, professional judgment, and expertise in analyzing business proposals submitted to the Department. Utilizing available resources, data systems, and software applications, the position evaluates and reports on operational and financial impacts, provides strategic recommendations, monitors and reports on space utilization and related revenue opportunities, identifies revenue gaps, and supports budget development efforts. The incumbent also develops staffing recommendations and operational strategies to help ensure the achievement of fiscal and performance objectives.
Airport Security
Applicants qualifying for employment with the Miami-Dade Aviation Department will be subject to extensive security screening, including but not limited to fingerprint checks, employment verification, and other such procedures as may be mandated by federal law. The security clearance required by federal law is a continuing condition of employment.
