Title - Network Engineer
Location - Hybrid role - fortworth, TX

Design and Implementation Develop and implement robust IT infrastructure solutions including servers networks and storage systems
Maintenance and Support Perform regular maintenance and updates to IT systems troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and support endusers
Troubleshooting Resolve complex technical issues escalated from Level 1 and Level 2 support teams providing expertlevel troubleshooting and problem resolution
Security Management Implement and manage security measures to protect IT infrastructure from cyber threats and ensure compliance with security policies
Collaboration Work closely with other IT professionals including network engineers system administrators and security specialists to ensure seamless integration and operation of IT systems

Minimum Qualifications Education Prior Job Experience
Good knowledge of Spanningtree protocols PVSTMSTPRSTP QOS VPN NAT VoIP IPSec Multicast DNS services MPLS networks network protocols Ethernet TCPIP SNMP VLAN Trunking and routing protocols BGP OSPF
Good knowledge on CiscoArubaMeraki switchesrouting networking
Experience working with network monitoring tools such as CA Spectrum or Logic Monitor and ITSM platforms such as Cherwell or ServiceNow
Experience working with VelocloudSDWANArubaMerakiNexusPalo Alto Fortinet FirewallsZscaler equipment is an advantage
Experience in switch upgrades and refresh activity is a plus
Basic understanding of public cloud and Azure cloud networking
Preferred Qualifications Education Prior Job Experience
3 years of experience in a NOC help desk or technical support environment within an enterprise data networkIT industry
BS Computer Science Telecommunications Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
Industry Certifications such as CCNA is desired
Skills Licenses Certifications
Proven ability to manage multiple vendors in a partially outsourced IT environment
Solid problem management skills related to working network related issue
Excellent communications interpersonal and problemsolving skills with a track record as a problem solver an effective team player is essential
Flexibility able to manage stressful situations and adapt to changing environments
Have attention to detail and an ability to organize and prioritize workload
Strong presentation and analytical skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Capable of efficiently completing tasks without specific direction or close supervision
Note Position is part of 24x7 team This person will work with another engineer 1000 1900 FriThur
