Summary:

The Cycle Count Inventory Specialist is responsible for the performing and timely recording of cycle counts. Maintains accurate record keeping and files as it pertains to the cycle counts performed. i.e. components, raw materials, WIP, finished goods and bulk. Ensure compliance with kdc/one's facilities cycle counting program. Identify and reconcile inventory discrepancies. Review, correct, and track issues with returns from production.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Daily maintenance of room locations and negatives.
  • Research and reconcile variances in a timely manner.
  • Resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Assist in picking disposals as needed.
  • Assist with the reconciliations on inventory issues and component analysis.
  • Maintain and review the progress folder within the department email on a regular basis. (All responses are to be within 48 hours).
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in a safe and proper manner in accordance to Company policies.
  • Perform counts daily as assigned by supervisor or designee.
  • Input cycle count results and other inventory data as required.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Basic computer proficiency and knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Must read and write English.
  • Competent written and oral communication skills suitable for a professional work environment.
  • Solid math and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be organized and able to work with limited supervision in a cross functional team environment.
  • Must be willing to work overtime when necessary, including nights, weekends and/or holidays.
  • Previous deep reach truck certification preferred or willingness to obtain immediate certification.
  • Minimum of 6 months' experience working in a warehouse environment and/or materials management preferred.
