Data Systems Specialist
Employment Term (Days): 226
Pay Scale: Administrative - Business 2
Primary Purpose:
Provide data analysis and application services and support to the Data Systems division of the Technology Department who manage the Student Information System and Business System software.
Qualification Guidelines:
Education/Certifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred)
Experience:
One year of programming and systems administration (preferred)
Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Proficient computer skills
Ability to use computer to develop spreadsheets and databases using Microsoft Office tools
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Possess a customer-support driven philosophy
Able to instruct users in the use of applications including providing remote support
Able to conduct training as required
Possess a working knowledge of data files and data manipulation
