Job Summary:
The Specialist- Driver Operations is responsible for the relationship with an assigned group of up to 40 Drivers which can be Company Drivers and/or Independent Contractors. Quality Carriers, Inc. operates on a 24/7 basis. As such, Specialist- Driver Operations are expected to participate in an on-call schedule. This schedule will vary based on location and business needs.

Properly pre-trip and communicate all assigned loads for an assigned group of drivers to ensure a minimum of 95% on-time service is maintained.
Individual customer contracts may exceed 95%.
Verbally and electronically dispatch all drivers in accordance with QC policies, utilizing QC-provided devices such ISAAC tablets, and software including TMW, ISAAC, and Totalmail.
Coordinate driver utilization with Central Scheduling and Equipment Planning teams to maximize driver earning while ensuring customer service expectations are met.
Communicate all potential and real service related issues proactively as they occur to the billing respective CSR to ensure the Customer is notified of all late deliveries prior to the planned arrival.
Works with an assigned group of drivers on a daily basis on their use of the Quality Carriers Dispatch workflow process.
