The Position
As a Human Resources Specialist, you'll partner with employees and managers across several Clyde Companies subsidiaries to provide exceptional HR support and service. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, is eager to learn, and wants to build a successful career in Human Resources. You'll gain experience across multiple HR functions, contribute to impactful projects, and work alongside a collaborative team committed to your growth and development.
What You'll Do
Some key responsibilities include:
Partner with managers to understand workforce needs and support recruiting and hiring efforts;
Manage recruiting activities including job postings, applicant screening, candidate communication, interviewing, and onboarding support;
Lead new hire onboarding and orientation to ensure a positive employee experience;
Serve as a trusted resource for employees and leaders by answering questions and guiding them through HR processes and systems;
Develop expertise in the company's HRIS and provide support and training to employees and managers;
Maintain employee records and process employment verifications, unemployment claims, leave administration, and other HR transactions;
Partner with payroll to ensure employee information is accurate and payroll processes run smoothly;
Support employee relations efforts and help foster a positive workplace culture;
Coordinate compliance-related programs, including leave administration and drug testing;
Participate in projects focused on process improvements, documentation, communication, and enhancing the employee experience;
Collaborate with HR teams across multiple Clyde Companies subsidiaries to support enterprise-wide initiatives;
Perform other duties as assigned.
This position provides Human Resources support for multiple Clyde Companies subsidiaries, including HomeBuilt, Clyde Capital Group, Beehive Insurance, and Clyde Companies.

Qualifications & Characteristics
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience;
1-2 years of Human Resources or related professional experience preferred;
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills;
Comfortable leveraging technology and learning HRIS and other business systems;
Quick learner with an aptitude for systems, technology, and process improvement;
Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills;
Self-motivated, adaptable, and detail-oriented;
Positive attitude and desire to grow as an HR professional.
