Reporting to the Sr Dir, Ballpark Operations the Logistics Specialist engages in various types of duties for events and to support the organization under the supervision of the Logistics Leads.
This is a part-time, hourly position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for set up and breakdown of all games, meetings, functions and events (maneuvering and lifting furniture listed but not limited to tables, chairs, risers, tents, gates, barriers and bicycle racks).
- Puts street closure barricade into place, carpets down prior to game, checks the First Aid locations for water and ice, sets up bike racks throughout the park as needed, changes the lineup card, the standings flags, sets the ADA section chairs, supports the promotional giveaway staff, and responds to calls on game days.
- Reports problems with the building, carts, turnstiles, and all the flag poles/flags in the park.
- Operates heavy equipment (forklifts, scissor lifts, tug, boom lift, bobcat, etc.) under OSHA specifications and apply as needed per type equipment operation.
- Performs heavy lifting and usage of equipment when necessary.
- Maneuvers office furniture.
- Responsible for snow and ice removal from the sidewalks and parking lots during the winter months.
- Assists other departments as needed under direction of the Leads and/or Manager.
- Be willing and able to adjust work schedule on short notice to support events on nights and weekends.
- Other duties as assigned.
Compensation:
The projected wage rate for this position is $17.95 per hour. Actual pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to the applicant’s: qualifications, skills, expertise, education/training, certifications, and other organization requirements. Starting salaries for new employees are frequently not at the top of the applicable salary range.
