Shipment Tracking & Monitoring: Track, trace, and monitor freight shipments proactively, ensuring real-time status updates and comprehensive documentation.
Logistics Administration: Execute clerical and data-entry processes to support daily transportation, billing, and collections workflows.
Vendor Communication: Monitor multiple communication channels—including web portals, faxes, and voicemails—to capture and process timely service provider updates.
Data Management: Maintain accurate, up-to-date data for specific customers, markets, products, and operational processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Assist and support coordinators, supervisors, and managers with various operational and business needs.
Risk Management: Escalate potential logistics issues or shipment delays immediately to coordinators or supervisors to prevent service failures.
Auditing & Billing Accuracy: Verify service provider charges and maintain a strong understanding of special/accessorial fees to ensure all costs are accurate and complete.
Operational Support: Perform miscellaneous administrative functions to support sales efforts, contract management, operations, and billing.
Compliance & Security: Adhere strictly to company C-TPAT and TSA security procedures while promoting organizational core values.
Proficient in MS Office, internet applications, and proprietary software.
Strong multitasking, prioritization, and project management skills.
