Description

The Specialist, Product Marketing & Promotions leads the marketing effort for new product introductions within an assigned portfolio of product managers, product lines, and key markets. The Specialist serves as the primary Marketing partner throughout the launch process, translating technical product information and market needs into positioning, launch plans, customer-facing materials, sales tools, and coordinated promotional programs.

Beyond new product launches, the Specialist develops ongoing promotional activity for existing products and key markets, using email, social media, advertising, public relations, web content, sales enablement, and channel partners to support market development and portfolio growth.

Are You Looking To:

  • Lead the marketing workstream for assigned new product introductions from initial intake and launch planning through market release, promotional activation, and post-launch review.
  • Determine the appropriate level of marketing support for each launch based on strategic importance, target market, revenue opportunity, competitive position, product readiness, and available resources.
  • Maintain an ongoing understanding of assigned product roadmaps, customer applications, competitive activity, market priorities, and revenue opportunities.
  • Participate in planning discussions with Product Management and Sales to identify upcoming launches, portfolio priorities, customer and market needs, and gaps in marketing support.
  • Build and manage promotional plans for assigned products and markets.
  • Plan, write, coordinate, and/or execute activity across email, organic and paid social media, digital and print advertising, public relations, website content, sales enablement, and other relevant channels.

Are You Ready To:

  • Define practical success measures for launches and promotions with Marketing leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on relevant performance indicators such as engagement, traffic, content response, inquiries, leads, and other agreed outcomes.
  • Use results, stakeholder feedback, and market insight to improve messaging, channel mix, targeting, timing, and future investment.
  • Support continuous improvement of NPI, product marketing, campaign planning, and cross-functional workflows.
  • Manage assigned program budgets, estimates, purchase requirements, and vendor deliverables in accordance with company processes.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, product management, or a related role required
  • Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally across multiple departments or business units
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills; experience contributing to marketing content preferred
  • Experience with project management tools and structured workflows (Jira, Asana, Monday.com, or similar) preferred
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical product concepts in terms of customer value-connecting specs to market relevance

  • Compensation range of $62,000 to $80,000. The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
