Role description

Location: Charlotte, NC (3 days Hybrid)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAS Viya 4 Administrator to manage deploy and optimize SAS Viya environments on modern container platforms The role involves KubernetesOpenShift administration SAS platform migration automation performance tuning and supporting AIML workloads in scalable enterprise environments

Primary Skills Mandatory

• Strong expertise in SAS Viya 4x administration on KubernetesOpenShift platforms
• Handson experience in SAS 9 to SAS Viya migration
• Proficiency in Linux system administration and shell scripting
• Experience with CICD automation Jenkins Git Ansible or similar
• Strong knowledge of containerization Kubernetes architecture and OpenShift orchestration
• Expertise in security frameworks IAM RBAC SSL authenticationauthorization
• Experience in monitoring logging and performance tuning of distributed systems
• Ability to support AIML workloads in scalable cloudonprem environments

Key Responsibilities

• Install configure upgrade and administer SAS Viya 4x environments on KubernetesOpenShift
• Plan and execute migration from SAS 9 to SAS Viya ensuring minimal downtime
• Manage containerized deployments namespaces pods and cluster resources
• Implement and maintain CICD pipelines for automated deployments and updates
• Configure security controls including IAM RBAC TLSSSL and secrets management
• Monitor system performance troubleshoot issues and implement performance tuning strategies
• Ensure high availability scalability and reliability of SAS platforms
• Support AIML workloads and advanced analytics use cases
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams DevOps Data Engineers Architects
• Maintain documentation runbooks and operational standards

Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual''s skills, experience, performance and internal equity.

Benefits

Compensation range: $ 120,383.00 to 134,200.00 per year
